Sprint News
Sprint currently serves over 55 million customers, making it America’s third largest wireless carrier. The company has made it through dire times in the late 2000s, resulting from its ill-advised purchase of Nextell Wireless. Sprint has since recovered, moving Nextel to the side and focusing on its postpaid services, which have begun to include LTE. They also own two prepaid brands, Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile, which help it reach a larger swath of customers.
