With over 105 million subscribers, AT&T is the second largest wireless carrier in the US. The company actually has an odd history, especially in wireless. The current incarnation of AT&T is actually the continuation of Cingular Wireless, which acquired AT&T Wireless Services in 2004. By 2007 the company had come under the AT&T brand, and for a time was the largest wireless carrier in America.
