A few looks at OS 6

by on July 19, 2010

Normally we reserve videos like this for News From The Wire, but when they come this early in the week I like to get them up on the site tout de suite. These come courtesy of Salomondrin, who continually posts excellent videos of upcoming BlackBerry developments. Today we see three videos involving OS 6. These include an overview, a look at media functions, and finally a WebKit browser comparison. Enjoy them all after the break. The browser certainly looks promising, and while OS 6 doesn’t put RIM on the same level as iOS and Android, it is an improvement over their current stock. How big a difference? What do you think?

I really hope that the devices running 6.0 don’t get held up for any reason.. I am very excited for the touch screen slider 9800 and want to dance around my iPhone using brother while making a call with my good reception phone.
