If you’re thinking about getting an Android device and Verizon is your carrier of choice, now is the time to grab one. They’re knocking $100 off the price of their Android lineup, as you can see in the image above. That means, after signing a two-year contract, you can get the Droid X for just $50. This could be just some inventory clearing measures to make room for some incoming handsets, such as the Droid Bionic and the Thunderbolt. But it’s still a good deal. [Boy Genius Report] Last week Samsung sent out something of a cryptic invitation to an event it is holding at CTIA later this month. It hints strongly a new tablet. Well, we already have the 7-inch Galaxy Tab, and we heard about a 10.1 inch at Mobile World Congress. So what will this new one be? As Scott Webster at Android Guys notes, the numbers 78910 are printed on the invitation. Well, they have a 7-inch tab, and they have a 10-inch tab. Might be an 8.9-inch tab they have set? It sounds like as good a guess as any. We have a little less than three weeks until the event. [Android Guys] Quickies
