The Storm is back in the news this week, and it only added more confusion to the situation. A picture of a sleek new BlackBerry touchscreen device popped up this week, and it was identified as the Storm 3. That might be true, but it won’t be the device that RIM releases this year. Highlights include:
BB GeekcastWhile the picture doesn’t represent a device that will be available any time soon, it does give us some hope for the future. It looked quite different than the current Storm line and could be a real boost to RIM’s portfolio. We’ll have to wait for more details, I’m sure, but if we’re seeing a leaked picture now we might not be far from getting more information. Also, Pearl 3G on a major carrier in the states! This has been a long time coming. Maybe I’m making too big a deal of it, but I think this is going to be a nice addition for AT&T.
