Two devices have our attentions captured right now: the PlayBook and the Storm 3. They promise to bring something new to BlackBerry, which will obviously pique our curiosities. This week we’re talking about them both again. A pair of rumors makes them both a bit more interesting. Highlights include:
BB GeekcastHow much will the PlayBook cost? Jim Balsillie told us that it would cost under $500, which is something. Still, it’s a bit of a disappointment if it’s $499. This week, though, we heard a rumor that it might come in a bit lower than that. If the lowest-memory model costs $399, that would promote a ton of sales I think. Now, will RIM move forward with that? Also, the Storm 3 is back in the news. We know it’s going to be a next-gen device, as we learned some of the specs a few weeks ago. What wasn’t clear was whether it would be an LTE device, as originally rumored, or not. That’s looking to be affirmative right now.
