We cut things short today. Why? Because all the news revolves around the BlackBerry Storm, and we’ve talked about this ad nauseum for the past, oh, three months. It’s dropping on November 21, and that’s official. A couple hundos and a fifty-spot will do the trick, though you’ll get the fifty-spot mailed back to you–if you’re not forgetful or lazy, that is.

Highlights include:
Storm, Storm, Storm. Today’s BBGeekcast marks the last of a couple of things, including speculation about the release date and price. In the middle of recording it, I had an epiphany: Things are always better on the podcast when we have unknowns. Speculation is fun; announcements are not.
This also marks the end of me complaining about the lack of built-in memory for the Storm. Really, is an 8GB microSD card any different than 8 gigs of internal flash memory? Perhaps I’ve been making too big a deal about this.
And not to neglect a newly-announced BlackBerry, we talk about the Curve 8900, set to drop in Germany on T-Mobile soon, and which should reach the States by early 2009.
