We start with the Dakota, which is the touchscreen/QWERTY device we’ve been waiting for. This figures to continue the Bold line and be RIM’s flagship device. We could maybe see another regular old BlackBerry this year, but with 9780 recently released and the Dakota on the horizon I doubt it. Then comes the new Curve, which brings a faster processor and a better screen. That’s the significant upgrade we’ve been waiting for. The Torch will get an overhaul, too, and will be packing a seriously awesome 1.2GHz processor. So will the Storm 3, the Monaco, the Monaca, or whatever they’re calling it. Curiously, all four of these devices seem ticketed for GSM carriers.
