There has been some trash talk about the PlayBook, and I really don’t get it. Everyone who has touched the device has talked up its potential, yet people still knock it. There are reasons I think, and that’s our main topic of discussion in this week’s podcast. Highlights include:
BB GeekcastHonestly, I don’t think I’ve ever yelled on the podcast before, but I do on this one. Just for a second. I just don’t want people thinking that the PlayBook is lacking because it doesn’t currently support BlackBerry’s signature calendar and email. It might in the future, but for now it won’t. Which isn’t that big a deal when you realize that no other tablet contains these features. Then there’s a bit on the upcoming CDMA BlackBerry line. That one should be good, considering what we’ve seen of CDMA BlackBerry devices in the past year.
