When Apple unveiled the App Store in 2008, it changed the mobile game forever. It gave developers an easy and uniform way to get their apps to consumers, while giving consumers quick and easy access to applications right from their devices. The App Store continues growing, and is nearing one million unique applications. These range from simple apps like to-do lists to complex and graphic-intensive anatomical diagrams. Apple coined the phrase, “there’s an app for that,” and they, along with their sea of developers, are out to prove it.
