Deal: Boost Mobile offering discounts on 4 Android smartphones and more

by on January 10, 2013

Looking to shed the burden of a wireless contract? Boost Mobile, one of the many prepaid arms of Sprint, offers one of the best deals in the business. For $55 per month it provides unlimited talk, text, and data with an Android smartphone. Compare that to postpaid carriers like Verizon, which charges $90 per month (with its new Share Everything plan) for unlimited talk and text with just 1GB of data. Boost does throttle data speeds once users hit 2.5GB per month, but even heavy users will find it difficult to consume that much over a 3G network.

Right now Boost is offering discounts on four of its Android handsets:

Get $50 off the HTC EVO Design 4G at Boostmobile.com!

Get $30 off the ZTE Warp at Boostmobile.com!

Get $25 off the Samsung Galaxy Prevail at Boostmobile.com!

Get $20 off the Kyocera Hydro at Boostmobile.com!

In addition, they’re offering $20 off the BlackBerry Curve 9310

Best of all, when you make on-time payments on your Boost account, you can save. For every six on-time payments, your bill shrinks by $5 per month, with a total of $15 in monthly savings possible. So someone who pays on time for 18 consecutive months, less than the length of a standard postpaid contract, will pay just $40 per month for unlimited Android service.
