Find local public bathrooms on your BlackBerry

by on November 13, 2008

Imagine the scenario. You’re on the subway, and it’s a long ride. You try to concentrate on the music in your headphones, but that’s just not enough. You’ve got to tinkle. So finally your stop comes, and you rush out of the train, onto the platform, up the stairs, and onto the street. But where to go? Unless there’s a McDonalds in eyeshot, you might have a tough time. So I was relieved yesterday to find out about a service called SitOrSquat on BlackBerry News.

SitOrSquat scouts out bathrooms in your current area and sends them back to you. You can rate toilets you use, write descriptions, and add images (ewwww). You can even add your own locations, in case you forget a particularly clean bathroom is in a certain area.

You can download the application at DenseBrain.com, or get it OTA at http://blackberry.densebrain.com.
