Email++ for BlackBerry gets an update, and we have 20 free copies to give away

by on June 7, 2012

Update: We’ve given away all 20 free licenses. You can still get EMail++ for $4.99 at the BBGeeks Store. A few months ago I shared my experienced with Email++, an email enhancement plugin for BlackBerry. It brings a few features to the table, such as pop-up notifications and forward/reply with edit, that the native BlackBerry OS does not contain. Recently the developer, Devcellent Solutions, pushed out an update to the app that adds even more features. I suggest taking a look at them, but you don’t have to take my word for it. We’re giving away 20 free copies of Email++. Read on to find out how you can win. From the developer, here are the new additions: – Templates: Convert any emails to a template and reuse them over and over again. Templates get added as a Memo item and can be reused for later use.
- Image Download: Configure to download images automatically in HTML emails.
- Backup/Restore: Email++ now allows the user to backup all configuration options and block lists to SDCard. Thus allows the users the ability to restore their settings if they switch devices or lose the settings for some reasons
- Message Preview: Users now have controls to configure the message preview visibility per application basis. Thus allows users not to be distracted while playing their favorite gamesĀ
- Toolbar: Added tooltip text on the icon with the feature name. Modified the toolbar to include icon for Template and combined My Availability and My Location features in one icon That’s in addition to all the features it already had. That is, the $4.99 cost of Email++ just became a better value. Of course, the first 20 people who want one won’t have to pay for it. The first 20 people to email me — Update: we’ve already given out all 20 free licenses — will get a code for a free download. I’ll update this post when I’ve run out of them. You can also, of course, check out Email++ at the BBGeeks Store.
