An anti-glare screen protector for your BlackBerry

by on March 22, 2012

When it comes to BlackBerry accessories, everything involves a personal touch. Some people like big, bulky cases that offer protection. Others want a thinner case that provides comfort at the expense of protection. The list goes on and one. One thing I’ve noticed people divided on is screen protectors. Some people think they’re nuisances that just make a screen harder to read. others swear by them and can’t imagine a BlackBerry without one. If you use a screen protector, you probably want one that reduces glare as much as possible. Thankfully, there are a few of those available. CitiGeeks makes a pretty effective anti-glare screen protector for most BlackBerry models. As with most screen protectors, its main aim is to reduce scratches on the screen. It also protects against dust buildup that can cause the screen damage. I’ve also noticed that using a screen protector helps prevent dust buildup behind the screen, but that might not be a universal. The CitiGeeks models add another feature with its anti-glare protection. Anyone who uses a BlackBerry outdoors is familiar with the inconvenience that glare can cause. It can render the screen unreadable. These anti-glare protectors will keep the screen dim enough that you can make out what’s on it, even when the sun’s on it. You might be a bit concerned when reading the description of these protectors, since they do involve applying glue. Apparently, they advertise that the glue leaves no residue when you remove the protector. That’s nice of them to say, but if people want to remain cautious I’d understand. No one wants to have stuff sticking to their screens after removing a screen protector. Still, if you want to protect your screen while reducing glare, you can get CitiGeeks Anti-Glare Premium Screen Protectors
